ETNA WATCH sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, runs no analytics or advertising, and has no accounts. We do not collect, store, profile or share any personal information about visitors. That is why there is no cookie banner.
WHAT IS TECHNICALLY PROCESSED
Like any website, serving these pages involves some incidental technical processing of your IP address:
- Hosting (Vercel). The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., whose infrastructure processes visitor IP addresses in ordinary, short-lived server logs in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Vercel privacy policy.
- Map tiles (OpenStreetMap). The interactive map loads its background tiles directly from OpenStreetMap's servers, so when the map is displayed your browser sends its IP address and user agent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. See the OSMF privacy policy. No other third-party requests are made from your browser — monitoring data and graphics from INGV, Toulouse VAAC and other sources are fetched by our server, never by you.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
- No cookies, localStorage or fingerprinting of any kind
- No analytics, advertising or social-media trackers
- No forms, accounts or newsletters — you cannot give us personal data even if you wanted to
- No selling or sharing of any data (there is none to sell)
CHANGES
If the site ever adds a feature that changes this picture (for example privacy-friendly analytics), this notice will be updated first and the date above revised.
